All is well

Hello from Chicago! I'm at school now, so my posting is going to be very limited from here on out. However, as you might expect, Chicago has it's own great source of architecture. (One just down the street!) So I hope to be sharing that with you soon, and when I have time. Maybe make some posts out of my archives as well.

St. Mary, Defiance

St. Augustine, Napoleon

Gratuitous Remarks

Noticed a letter in the Blade that reminded me of something. SNAP has outlived its usefulness, so it's really time for them to go on with their lives, let the proper authorities do their jobs, and shut the hell up. A little whining goes a long way.
I'm not a priest or spokesman for the diocese, so I can speak the truth bluntly on that matter.

St. Joseph, Fremont

Joseph P. Machebeuf

There's a good post about Bishop Machebeuf at Sandusky History.
Not long ago, I noticed yet another bishop who had served in this area, which seems to have been a training ground for them. I'll try to post on him this week.
